This piece was written in an elevated, poetic style to attract blue chip clients and differentiate Woods Oviatt Gilman from low-end franchise law firms. It won an Addy Award.

ESL--Eastman Savings and Loan

Dixon Schwabl and Associates hired me to write collateral pieces for ESL Trust and Wealth Management services. The pieces had a lot of informational financial copy, so I just include a few of the preface pages here.

Plan Architects

This copy spoke to Plan's aesthetic of creating inspiring, sustainable architecture that is respectful of history and the environment.

A building is a living thing.

It inhabits us, as we inhabit it.

It gives us the comfort of the familiar,

and the delight of the new,

like the memory of something

that hasn't happened yet.

The West Group

The West Group is a division of legal publishing giant Thomson Reuters, and is best known for Westlaw, the legal research tool. This national campaign featured well-known attorneys from all across the country. The twist? Their legal specialty was driven by a personal passion. This attorney was a New York entertainment lawyer by day, a jazz musician by night. Another was a Clean Water Act lawyer with a passion for scuba diving. This campaign won an Addy Award.
